Fewer是用在可數名詞
There would be fewer trees in the the future. 在未來可能會越來越少樹木
The amount of people who come to library rooms become fewer and fewer. 越來越少人來圖書室
Less就是用來形容不可數名詞, 但是less 也可以當副詞來形容動詞
I need to try to spend less money. 我必須試著少花點錢
I need to exercise more and eat less to lose weight.
我需要多點運動少吃來減重
